If you have a question on one of our products that isn't covered in its description page, please visit that product's Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. Usually, you will be able find the answers to most questions there.

Some of our products include a full-blown manual. Being in electronic form, it is fully searchable and often contains valuable information.

Another great source of information is the community of users who share thoughts, questions, tips and examples with each other on our forums and mailing lists. Feel free to browse the forums and list archives to find the answers to your questions.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the software. You can find the latest versions or updaters on the download page.

 

Requesting technical support

If, after checking all of the resources available above and in this section of the web site, you still have a problem, don't hesitate to contact us. We provide email-based tech support for our products. Please help us address your issue more quickly by providing the following information in your email:

 The version of Mac OS X that you are running, and the model of the Mac you are using.
 The version of the application you are requesting help for.
 A good description of the problem: what you are trying to do, how you are trying to do it, what you would expect to happen, and what actually happens instead.
 Please tell us if the problem is reproducible and, if yes, the steps required to reproduce it.
 If you found a workaround for your problem, please describe it.
 If you know that the problem did not occur in previous versions of the software, please mention it.
 If you are reporting a crash, please include the crash log with your message.
 If the application has logged information or error messages to the Console, please copy that information from the Console utility's window and paste it in your message.

We do our best to reply to all email messages within three business days. Rest assured that we do read all email: while we may not be able to answer your question immediately, we do keep track of all suggestions, requests and bug reports.
